National Museum of the U.S. Air Force

At our second stop on our East Coast Trip was Dayton, OH, were we went to the National Museum of the U.S. Air Force twice! I saw a Wright Military Flyer (replica), the B-17 Flying Fortress, Memphis Bell,a B-24, a B-26, Me 109, Me 190, Me 163 Komet, Me 262, P-80 Shooting Star, the B-29 Superfortress, Bockscar, a F-86 Sabre, a MiG 15, a C-117 Flying Boxcar, a B-52 Stratofortress, a F-105 Thunderchief, a F-111 Aardvark, a MiG-17, a MiG 19, a MiG 21, a MiG 23, a F-100, a F-16 (USAF Thunderbirds) a X-29, a Northrop Tatic Blue, a XF-23, a X-1, a X-3, a X-4, a X-5, a X-15, a XB-70, a X-13, a P-80R Shooting Star "Racey", a flying saucer of some sort (I forgot the type), the C-141 Hanoi Taxi, and almost every type of presidential aircraft!

I also saw over three hundred other types of aircraft! I also saw a C-17 Globemaster III land at nearby Wright-Patterson AFB. The National Museum of the U.S. Air Force was definitely one of my favorite aircraft museums. Here are some photos of our visit there:
